Ah, another man after my old bones...know the feeling...along with DIAP, and Mando, we have the orthopedic specialists covered hereabouts.

No one mentioned a 68 show? Hmmmm...well, knowing your interests, how about my seconds for that 6-17-75 show above? Great CFingers and PeggyO? You can go with the AUD, and listen carefully for my yelling and whooping in the background...the pain meds will make it even more surreal.

And as for the "train station" metaphor, as DIAP and I discussed at length, I have a few words of wisdom: ample supply of Senakot. Go up to the full DOSAGE, my friend, FULL dosage. EVERY day. Studies have been done--there is no downside to this for a few weeks.

It will have you right in no time.

Seriously. This is the best advice you will get here today.

Hey Tell!

Right you are!!! The hospital never suggested this but another friend who'd had knee surgery and went thru this did, and it HAS been as good as advertised! I make sure to take a couple each day and so far it's done wonders...

Basically, the Great North central is on its way, traveling perhaps not quite as fast as I'd like, but finally it's one big party from front to end!!!

(Wow--I just managed to turn one of my favorite Dead lyrics into a disgusting metaphor. Apologies all around ;-)

And who says the Forum doesn't provide for those in need? Be it medical advice, social commentary, WWII history and Prime Ministerial anecdotes, off color jokes, or just someone being around to let you know you're not alone, it just might not be the "friendliest place on the internet", but it is certainly in the running for the most educational and entertaining...

Hang in there with it all, G!
